Narrowing Your Research Search, Some Strategies

There are many strategies to find out relevant articles about a topic. This is a reference about some of the most common ways people have used:

When searching for specific research articles, I will proceed as detailed here.

The number of articles will be lower, but they will be focused on the search topic.

Here I compare two searches in PubMed (basic search). The first query used Boolean connectors retrieving 232 articles. The second one without Boolean connectors, the search returned zero articles.
